Description
i thought i'd add some color to my gallery. some pictures i took last friday for my portfolio for university for applied sciences in munich (wish me good luck, i would *really* love to go there).i know the strawberry looks really dark at least this is what everyone tells me. on my desktop it looks good and richcolored as i would like it. and i don't know why the apple's shadow has no pins in it. it rarely had one when i took the picture but i had to change the contrast to make it clearer.
the manipulation was just a change of contrast, mostly to get the backround whiter (a sheet of paper was the bg and it was pretty dark still).
i know it's pretty different from what i usually do but although i mostly do bw pictures, i love colored very much. i hope you like it.
the pictures are small, i know but i though i'd upload the three pictures together instead of one after another because of the upload limit.
imagine the titles as
..kiwivoodoo
..strawberryvoodoo
..applevoodoo
that's it. congratulations if you read the whole description

Like the contrast with the white background and the fact that the sticks into the fruits gives this very nice shadow.

The lighting is slightly different on each piece though, the shadows have different strengths / directions, and the strawberry is huge (or the apple is minute!).
Could do with setting up the camera on a tripod and keeping the lighting fixed - then choosing fruit of a similar size and placing them at the same point each time so everything is constant.
And the kiwi fruit definately looks like it's passed its sell-by-date

the whole thing was a bit difficult because i had to re-locate in the middle of the shooting. but the suggestion with the tripod is really good, thank you!

1: the spaces between the qbjects equally
2: putting them as seperate images cause of the different shadows.
me personally would take no: 2
and put a black border around them.
nice work... keep on doing it!
